Ive been a walker/jogger for longer than I care to admit. This app is the first one Ive tried that I know my running style is improving, my times are getting better, and its working.
What works? For the 5K training, theres a choice between "new" or "experienced", you can put your desired pace, and set the interval spacing. Each days workout is clearly stated, and the progression feels very appropriate.
The music is techno-beat, or you can use your own. The readout is clear, and readable while running-always a bonus!
For me I think the best part is that Jeff Galloway has a very friendly style, and his voice, with a slight Southern tinge, is encouraging, without letting you off the hook. I wouldnt respond well to a military-style coaching, which this isnt. If "barking orders" is your style, then this probably isnt the app for you.
I am a fan, and am considering pushing myself into the 10K or maybe even the half-marathon. Im definitely sticking with Lolo for coaching.
